VDR (Virtual Data Room)

Providing a secure and safe cloud-based file sharing service

Widespread since around 2002, VDR is a cloud-based service for the safer sharing of important documents and files among relevant parties both within and outside of a company. Initially it was used for information sharing during the asset appraisal process (due diligence) for M&A, but in recent years it has been increasingly used for a wide variety of purposes, including the sharing of intellectual property and design data, and the sharing of materials with outside directors.
